This beautiful fairy tale of suspicion and redemption is awash in contrasts: art and nature, love and jealousy, human and divine, order and chaos, life and death. Taking inspiration from Russian Art Nouveau illustrators and Romanov décor, we crafted a Sicilia that was cold and rigid and a Bohemia that was vivacious and full of life. The meeting of the two was a nightmarish bear, both monstrous and magical, that brought the death of the past and the hope for the future.
