This mural was commissioned to fill a long white wall in a break room.  The idea was to create something that dealt with wellness of mind, body, and spirit.  I developed the abstracted look of the figures to be as non-specific as possible while still clearly indicating humans, and also to tie their colors into the somewhat abstracted natural world they occupy.  The flaming torch is the symbol of the company’s wellness program, and got incorporated both as a framing device and as an emanation of wellness from each figure.
