The drops for Sweeney Todd had to lie crumpled on the stage and, when raised up, have the look of having (somewhat) survived a fire.  We painted them with Rosco Supersats, then used belt sanders and rasps to destroy the bottom of the drops, and finally added the smoke and soot damage with a combination of flat and glossy tones.
